EvangelismTraining http://www.kibidula.org/kibidula_003.htm Mon, 11 Jan 2010 12:15:09 GMT Web Easy by Avanquest Software Evangelism Training With the growing interest in the gospel in Tanzania and the lack of trained pastors, the schooling of lay evangelists has become a top priority for the Tanzania Union of the SDA Church. To help in this endeavor, Kibidula started its Lay Missionary Training Program on December 20, 2000. Since then, the Kibidula team has educated between 40 and 60evangelists each year from East Africa. The local field (South West Tanzania Field) has employed some of them and others are now part of Kibidula’s own lay missionary program.
 
The program consists of a 4-month course in Bible, Evangelism, Health and Agriculture which we run twice a year. It is designed as a work-study program that has a field experience component. Our group that graduated in November 2009 held a two-week door-door campaign in Mpanga that resulted in a harvest of 20 souls.
 
Our next intake will be in January 2010
